Sesa launch Football school

Sesa Football Academy launched the Sesa Football School, with the hope of grooming budding football talent at a younger age which can be absorbed into their academy, at the Sesa headquarters in Sirsaim, recently.

Sesa have identified 28 boys in the U-13 age group, from the local villages of Bicholim, Tivim and Sirsaim who will be trained at Sirsaim ground, by SAG coaches Gajanan Kambli and Shankar Fallari on Tuesday's and Friday's.

On the occasion, Sesa felicitated Sporting Clube de Goa midfielder Adil Khan who had passed out from the Sanquelim Academy in 2008. He was handed a cheque of Rs. 1lakh for his achievement, after representing India at the AFC Challenge cup recently.

Present for the function were, Sesa executive committee member Mr. R Krishnagopal, Sesa health Advisor Dr. N N Bhatiker, Sesa administrator Brahmanand Shanwalkar, Sesa secretary Cyril Rodrigues, Sesa chief mentor Terry Phelan, Sesa coaches Anthony Fernandes, Ajay Acharya, Bibiano Fernandes and Sukvinder Singh of Libero Sports.
