Churchill Brothers S.C. is an Indian football club based in Salcette, Goa. The team participates in the I-League. The club's name of Churchill was taken from Churchill Braz Alemao. The team plays its I-League home matches at the Fatorda stadium in Margao, Goa.
They are one of the top teams in the state of Goa, having won the Goa League six times, the last being in 2001. After having been relegated from the National Football League at the end of the 2004-05 season, the club played in the Second Division in 2005-06, being placed in Group A. After a top two finish in the second division, the team once again played the in Premier League of the NFL in 2006-07 season. During the 2008-09 I-League season Churchill Brothers SC won the I-League 2008-09.
Churchill Brothers SC were started up in 1988 as Varca Club. After one season under the name Varca Club they renamed themselves Brothers Sporting Club. Later on they were bought out by Churchill Braz Alemao and renamed themselves Churchill Brothers SC. After the takeover by Churchill the club went on to win the Durand Cup in 2007 and then they had their best year in 2008-09 by winning the 2008-09 I-League, 2009 Durand Cup, and the 2009 IFA Shield. Through the I-League win Churchill Brothers SC were able to play in the 2010 Asian Champions League qualifiers which they lost which meant that they would play in the 2010 AFC Cup. During the AFC Cup Churchill Brothers SC won two games against Al-Hilal and finished runners up in there group and advanced to the next round where they would lose 1-2 to Al-Qadsia at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium.
On June 9, 2011 Churchill Brothers SC announced they have signed former Portugal national team assistant coach Manuel Gomes as permanent manager.
The Churchill Brothers SC players use the Varca Ground in Salcette, Goa as a training ground,
